As a growing non-profit organization, we rely on donations from generous people like you. With the end of the year quickly approaching, many will be making contributions to charitable organizations as a way to earn tax deductions. If this is you, or end of the year charitable giving is on your to-do list in general, please keep Multicolores Guatemala in mind.
We’re often asked, “How can I help?” There are some specific needs we have coming up, as well as ongoing programs that would benefit from your support:
• Next February we will begin a series of in-depth interviews with the rug hookers to capture their stories and gauge the impact of rug hooking on their lives. If you can support our purchase of an audio recorder that would be wonderful, or you may have a spare recorder we can use.
• We are also currently fundraising to buy furniture for the new Multicolores office space.
• Would you consider donating air miles? Your miles will be helpful in supporting artists’ visits to the United State for education and cultural exchanges. With both our rug hooking and embroidery groups attending the International Folk Art Market in Santa Fe this year, your miles will be put to good use.
• If you would like to give a gift of money, please send you tax deductible donation to Farmer to Farmer, PO Box 303, Glenwood City, WI 54013. Indicate that your donation is intended for the Rug Hooking Project.

Our organizations could not have flourished without the support and generosity of our many friends and supporters. It is a tribute to all of us that this project continues to go from strength to strength.
