Floral Table Runner

"Embroidered designs of flowers that represent the patterns of huipiles and the nature of Guatemala."

This work of art was designed and hand-stitched by Simeona Lucía Juárez Yax, member of the Totonicapán embroidery group.

 The center of the table runner are bold flowers and leaves in light colors on a deep indigo blue cloth. The Intricate embroidery is done with a variety of stitches. This table runner would liven up any table. Also works well as a wall hanging.
