Floral Table runner with pom-poms

Embroidered designs of flowers represent the patterns of huipiles and the nature of Guatemala.  

This work of art was designed and hand-stitched by Ana María Quexel Gonzalez, a member of the Sumpango, Sacatepéquez embroidery group.  The design is crafted with cotton thread and framed with recycled 'corte' fabric in color, adorned with pom-poms hand-made from wool.
