Corn Table Runner with Pom-poms

"Corn and Milpas: Embroidered designs of corn and milpas, represent the Maíz of Guatemala." This work of art was designed and hand-stitched by Felix Felisa Velasco Castro de Gutiérrez, member of the Totonicapán embroidery group. The center of the table runner are images of corn with a mixed border of geometrics and images on a white cloth, adorned with pom-poms. The Intricate embroidery is done with a variety of stitches. This table runner would liven up any table. Also works well as a wall hanging.
