This large work of art was designed and hand embroidered by Micaela Fabiola Aguilar García and Ramona Lucía Tzunún García, members of the Totonicapán embroidery group. Different traditional Maya clothing with a road wandering through. Beautiful intricate stitching. This would brighten up any wall in the home or office.

Materials

The birds are stitched using cotton and lustrina threads on a cream-colored cotton cloth. Each of the 9 birds is unique showing the The border is made of recycled indigo corte fabric, with a hanging system of five loops made from recycled handwoven cloth. The back is made with a patchwork of recycled fabrics.

Care

Spot clean with mild soap and lay flat to dry.
