"Embroidered designs of birds in geometric patterns that represent the nature of Guatemala and its traditional clothing."

This beautiful table runner was designed and hand-stitched by Cipriana Garcia Ajpop, member of the Totonicapán embroidery group.

The birds and plants are embroidered on an indigo blue base cloth using a variety of different stitches. This can also be used as a wall hanging or at the foot of the bed.
