Tomasa Ventura Cúmez

Her favorite part of being an artist at Multicolores is the entire process she goes through with her artworks, because everything is important for inspiration.

She draws her inspiration from her culture, specifically in the textiles of Guatemala.

Tomasa feels proud of having achieved mastering the crochet technique, and through it, being able to have an income to cover her needs and support her family.

“Multicolores is an organization that supports women, their groups, and their families, providing an opportunity to create our art and have an economic income. It also supports us in expressing ourselves freely without fear of participation, thanks to the development opportunities it offers.”
