The combination of birds, flowers and geometrics makes for a lively design. This small size works well in many locations in the home and also makes a beautiful wall hanging.

Recycled secondhand clothing and cotton base cloth. This artwork was made using 20-22 recycled garments.

Dimensions

18" x 22"

Care

Spot clean with warm water and mild soap recommended. Shake to remove dust or sand. Vacuum with brush attachment and gentle suction only. Lay flat to dry.

Tomasa Ventura Cúmez

Her favorite part of being an artist at Multicolores is the entire process she goes through with her artworks, because everything is important for inspiration.

She draws her inspiration from her culture, specifically in the textiles of Guatemala.

Tomasa feels proud of having achieved mastering the crochet technique, and through it, being able to have an income to cover her needs and support her family.
