This work of art was designed and crafted by Carmen Guá Gómez, member of the Chirijquiac rug hooking group. This piece is unique and the design is the result of the artist creative vision. The abstract design includes birds, flowers and geometric shapes. This large size works well in many locations in the home and also makes a beautiful wall hanging.

Materials

Recycled secondhand clothing and cotton base cloth. This artwork was made using 45-50 recycled garments.

Dimensions

24" x 48"

Care

Spot clean with warm water and mild soap recommended. Shake to remove dust or sand. Vacuum with brush attachment and gentle suction only. Lay flat to dry.

Carmen Cuá Gómez

Her favorite aspect of being an artist at Multicolores involves designing and combining colors, with a preference for bold and vibrant hues as they motivate and inspire her.

She draws inspiration from nature, particularly having a deep affection for flowers and animals.

Carmen takes pride in having successfully crafted her rugs using the technique, despite the initial challenges. She has noticed significant improvements since then.
