This hand hooked rug was designed and crafted by Dominga Carmelina Huix Cotí a member of the Chirijquiac, Quetzaltnango rug hooking group. This piece is unique, and the design reflects the images of the traditional woman's blouse (huipil).
 This medium size works well in many locations in the home and also makes a beautiful wall hanging.

Recycled secondhand clothing and cotton base cloth. This artwork was made using 30-35 recycled garments.

Care

Spot clean with warm water and mild soap recommended. Shake to remove dust or sand. Vacuum with brush attachment and gentle suction only. Lay flat to dry.
