This work of art was designed and hand-stitched by Geidi Marina Sahón Juracán de Solís, member of the Patanatic embroidery group.

This handcrafted design features birds and leaves embroidered in cotton thread, complemented by a border made from recycled fabric with a traditional “corte” print. The geometric elements are inspired by patterns commonly found in Guatemalan huipiles, adding depth and cultural significance to the piece. The rich dark background enhances the vivid colors, making it a beautiful decorative accent for a table, wall, or bed.
