This work of art was designed and hand-stitched by Rosa Lidia Cubur Solloy, a member of the Sumpango embroidery group.

This embroidery celebrates Guatemala’s rich birdlife, with a light background that enhances the vivid hues and delicate feather patterns of each bird. A beautiful accent for a sofa, bed, or any cozy living space.

Materials

The pillow cloth is handwoven traditional recycled indigo fabric (corte) with subtle blue stripes. The embroidery is done with a variety of threads and stitches. There is a hidden zipper on the back side allowing for easy washing. Pillow insert is not included.

Care

Spot clean with mild soap and lay flat to dry.
