This work of art was designed and hand-stitched by Simeona Lucía Juárez Yax, a member of the Totonicapán embroidery group.

Drawing inspiration from the colorful kite festival of Sumpango, Sacatepéquez, this design combines delicate pastel tones with cultural tradition. Its gentle color palette blends effortlessly with a variety of home décor styles, making it ideal for any room.

Materials

The pillow cloth is handwoven traditional recycled indigo fabric (corte) with subtle blue stripes. The embroidery is done with a variety of threads and stitches. There is a hidden zipper on the back side allowing for easy washing. Pillow insert is not included.

Care

Spot clean with mild soap and lay flat to dry.
