This work of art was designed and crafted by Rosa Lidia Cubur Solloy, member of the Sumpango embroidery group. This piece is unique and the design is the result of the artist’s creative vision. 

This design is inspired by the vibrant butterflies of spring in Guatemala. Set against a deep blue background, the colorful butterflies and flowers stand out beautifully, creating a striking and lively composition. Materials

The pillow cloth is handwoven traditional recycled indigo fabric (corte) with subtle blue stripes. The embroidery is done with a variety of threads and stitches. There is a hidden zipper on the back side allowing for easy washing. Pillow insert is not included.

Care

Spot clean with mild soap and lay flat to dry.
