Embroidererd Doll Cushion

This work of art was designed and crafted by Maria Magdalena Tziná Vásquez, member of the Santiago embroidery group. This piece is unique and the design is the result of the artist’s creative vision. 

Hand-embroidered, one of a kind, cushion doll made by an artist from one of the 9 Guatemalan communities we work with. Each cushion doll is a unique expression of the artist´s creativity. 

The finishing touches were done by the artisans of Alma de Colores, a social enterprise that supports social and economic inclusion of disabled people in rural Guatemala. This ornament was sewn by a talented seamstress in the deaf women´s sewing workshop. 

The cushion doll measures approximately 17″ x 8″. Textile and thread material: Cotton. Filling: Polyester material.
