"Embroidered doll featuring designs that represent the traditional costumes of various regions of Guatemala."

This work of art was designed and hand-stitched by Micaela Fabiola Aguilar García member of the Totonicapan embroidery group.

Materials: The doll is made with a cotton fabric base and it is filled with recycled candy wrappers that have undergone a decontamination process before use.

Made in Guatemala.

Her favorite part of being an artist at Multicolores is creating her designs and finding inspiration.

Fabiola’s inspiration comes from traditions, parts of her life, and the stories told by her parents and grandparents.

She feels proud of the achievements she has obtained, such as learning to embroider and combine colors in each of her pieces.

“Multicolores for me is an association that inspires joy through all the colors we use, and it’s a place where we can express our creativity.”
