This work of art was designed and hand-stitched by Ana María Coó Quiejú, former member of the Santiago Atitlán embroidery group.

Materials

The base is made of handwoven traditional recycled indigo corte (cloth).
The design is embroidered with cotton and lustrina thread (embroidery floss) and framed with a colorful recycled traditional coth. The back is lined with recycled colored corte fabric.

Care

Spot clean with mild soap and lay flat to dry.
