Bird Table Runner with Pom-poms

"Embroidered designs of birds in geometric patterns that represent the nature of Guatemala and its traditional clothing." 

This work of art was designed and hand-stitched by Ana Berta Cubur Gil, member of the Sumpango embroidery group. Colorful birds, leaves and diamonds on an indigo background. The intricate embroidery is done with a variety of stitches. This bird table runner would liven up any table. Also works well as a wall hanging.
