This work of art was designed and hand-stitched by Ana Berta Cubur Gil, a member of the Sumpango, Sacatepéquez embroidery group.
The embroidery is done in a variety of stitches in shades of rose and pink. The design is depicts the yearly kite festival and other designs. Beautiful on the couch or the bed.

Materials

The pillow cloth is handwoven traditional recycled indigo fabric (corte) with subtle blue stripes. The embroidery is done with a variety of threads and stitches. There is a hidden zipper on the back side allowing for easy washing. Pillow insert is not included.
