"Embroidered designs of birds in geometric patterns that represent the nature of Guatemala and its traditional clothing."

This work of art was designed and hand-stitched by Flora Tejaxún Chuy, member of the Sumpango embroidery group.

The  table runner is fine embroidered birds and plants in rich colorful thread, done with a variety of stitches. This table runner would liven up any table. Also works well as a wall hanging.
