Geometric Guipil Large Rug

This work of art was designed and crafted by Dominga Carmelina Huix Cotí member of Chirijquiac_Quetzaltnango the  rug hooking group.

 A combination of geometry and animals from nature, giving them an unreal appearance that lends the design a special, unique touch with the beautiful colors found in Mayan women’s garments.This larger size works well in many locations in the home such as by the bed, by the couch, in front of the kitchen sink, and also works as a wall hanging.
