Table runner with pom-poms

"Embroidered designs of birds in geometric patterns that represent the nature of Guatemala and its traditional clothing."

This work of art was designed and hand-stitched by Juana Ajcot Chavajay, a member of the Santiago, Atitlán Sololá embroidery group.  The design is crafted with cotton thread and framed with recycled 'corte' fabric in color, adorned with pom-poms hand-made from wool.

Materials:

• The base is made of cotton fabric woven on a foot loom
• The design is embroidered with cotton thread.
• The back is made of recycled corte fabric. 

Made in Guatemala.
