This work of art was designed and hand-stitched by Elsa Lorena Yol Chiquitó, member of the Sumpango embroidery group.

It’s a piece with diamonds and stitched lines inspired by traditional Guatemalan clothing; the colors are drawn from the San Cristóbal outfit, and those pink tones look great in a living room or bedroom, making it ideal as a gift.

Materials

The pillow cloth is handwoven traditional recycled indigo fabric (corte) with subtle blue stripes. The embroidery is done with a variety of threads and stitches. There is a hidden zipper on the back side allowing for easy washing. Pillow insert is not included.
