This work of art was designed and hand-stitched by Juana Ajcot Chavajay, member of the Santiago Atitlán embroidery group.

This design is inspired by the weaving done in the perajes of Santiago Atitlán for the women who wear it every day; its beautiful color is perfect for any part of your home.

Materials

The pillow cloth is handwoven traditional recycled indigo fabric (corte) with subtle blue stripes. The embroidery is done with a variety of threads and stitches. There is a hidden zipper on the back side allowing for easy washing. Pillow insert is not included.
