At this stage of my life, I have understood that to move forward into the future, I must first accept who I was in the past and who I am in the present.

My portrait symbolizes the importance of loving yourself for the person you were and the person you are today. I have learned that it is possible to embrace our past without remaining trapped in narratives of pain. The decision to accept our story and choose to live it with joy and hope comes from within.
