My inspiration for creating this portrait comes from the birds of Guatemala. Every time I see them soar among hills and volcanoes, I feel motivated to fight for what my heart desires. In those moments, I connect with my inner peace and with the deep desire to not follow what society dictates. To me, birds symbolize the freedom to be authentic, without letting others’ expectations define who I am.

When I am honest with myself, I discover how wonderful life can be. Those who do not take risks do not gain: we must release our fear of heights and take the leap to fly. Only then can we grow and unfold our full potential.
