This work of art was designed and hand-stitched by Flora Tejaxún Chuy Gonzalez, a member of the Sumpango, Sacatepéquez embroidery group.

The center of the table runner are images of corn with a mixed border of geometrics and images. The Intricate embroidery is done with a variety of stitches. The base is made of handwoven traditional recycled indigo corte (cloth).
The design is embroidered with cotton and lustrina thread (embroidery floss) and framed with a colorful recycled traditional coth. The back is lined with recycled colored corte fabric.
